Learn Learning

Learn how to learn.

An open community for getting better at learning itself. We show up every day, keep the practice small, let it compound, and share what we find with everyone.

There is more of everything now.

More to read, more to watch, more pulling at your attention. Most of it asks for intensity: a course binged in a weekend, a streak kept alive by guilt.

We go the other way. One small practice, done every day, in the open, next to people doing the same. Nothing here is built to keep you scrolling. It is built so you come back tomorrow.

Five principles

  1. 01

    First principles

Start from what is true, not from what is usual. Remove a thing before adding one.

  2. 02

    Consistency over intensity

One page read every day beats a book read once. Show up, then show up again.

  3. 03

    Compounding

Small, repeated, visible. The record grows; points and badges do not matter.

  4. 04

    Perseverance

A missed day is a grey square, not a verdict. Start again the next day.

  5. 05

    Give first

Write every note so a stranger can use it. What you give is what you take.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Pick one practice.

Small and concrete, in your own words: read 20 pages, write 300 words, solve one problem.

  2. Step 2

    Check in every day.

One line a day: what you did and what you noticed. Miss a day and it stays a grey square. Nobody resets you to zero.

  3. Step 3

    Give what you learn.

Turn what worked into a note someone else can use. It gets written here, then shared wherever people already are.

What you sow is what you reap.

Every note and reading list here is written for someone you may never meet. You arrive and find what others left for you. You leave something for whoever comes next.
